These biographies show that these REST speakers have worked hard for their success and gained extensive knowledge through their experiences.


REST SpeakersREST Speaker:  Reynaldo E. Arellano, CPA, PFS, CGMA – Course info

Rey Arellano is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with additional professional designations as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with over 30 years of experience.  Rey is the CEO of a Actuate CPA which provides non-attest services such as bookkeeping, accounting, and taxes (planning, compliance, representation, resolution), as well as tactical controller, financial planning and analysis, and strategic CFO and business advisory services – primarily to high net worth individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.  Rey’s career began as a Big Eight auditor, transitioned to roles as an accounting software consultant, then controller, and ultimately CFO.  He has held NASD and life insurance licenses (currently inactive).  Additionally, Rey has held senior leadership roles (C-suite) and board positions across the corporate and nonprofit sectors.

REST Speaker:  Kaitlin Borncamp, CPA, NTP, MAcc – Course info

Kaitlin Borncamp is a CPA turned Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Health Alignment Expert for high-achieving professionals.  With more than a decade of experience in public accounting, she has personally experienced the pressures and daily stress of being a client-serving professional.  That first-hand experience has fueled her passion for helping professionals and executives optimize their health by aligning programs to their busy schedules so they can look, feel, and perform at their best every day.  She helps high-achieving professionals unlock their best selves through sustainable habits using data-driven and science-backed practices, and has created a step-by-step coaching process that simplifies health optimization that is achievable for even the busiest schedules.

REST Speaker:  Barry S. Graham, CPA, CMA – Course info

Barry Graham is a senior audit manager at Wallace, Plese + Dreher (WP+D), an Arizona based public accounting firm.  He has almost two decades of business and public accounting experience.  Barry manages financial statement audits, reviews and agreed-upon procedure (AUP) engagements for private companies across industries including heavy equipment, manufacturing, construction, hospitality and distribution.  He guided clients through the adoption of new lease accounting standards, helping them document leases, implement tracking systems, and meet disclosure requirements.  Barry supports his community by serving on the Scottsdale, AZ City Council and previously served on the City of Scottsdale Planning Commission.

REST SpeakersREST Speaker:  Leta Greene – Course info

Leta Greene speaks internationally, including three TEDx talks and is an author of two best-selling books.  Her message is one of honoring yourself through being authentic to who you are.  Through humor, stories and a new way of seeing the everyday Leta has audiences of all ages wanting to hold on for more!  Leta is an energetic keynote speaker for conferences and seminars on resiliency, personal responsibility, and, of course, the “hotness” factor.  Her presentations range from maturation programs for youth, confidence workshops, and seminars for parents on how to talk to your kids.  As an image consultant and makeup artist since 1999, Leta has helped clients to not only look their best, but to feel their best.  Leta has also built a multi-million-dollar business in the beauty industry and is a sought-after trainer for women entrepreneurs.  Leta does not want to intimidate anybody, but she is known as “Hotness”.  Leta inspires people to embrace what makes them individually hot and amazing.  Leta majored in sign language and graduated with honors.  Ironically, she is really good at not talking!  At 12, she won the Boy Scout arm wrestling competition, from which none of those boys ever asked her out.  Leta is the mother of two daughters and one son, who Leta and her husband agree are the most adorable children.  Just follow her on Facebook and you will see that they are amazing.  Her kids and husband bring it home for her.  Anytime she thinks she is too cool, it is time to cook dinner.  She considers her greatest accomplishment is that her husband and children still like her.

REST Speaker:  Drummond Kahn, MS, CIA, CGFM, CGAP – Course info

Drummond Kahn is a nationally recognized leader in government auditing with more than 30 years of experience transforming audit functions and developing audit talent.  He has led high-impact audit teams as Chief of Audit Services for the Oregon Department of Transportation, Director of Audit Services for the City of Portland, and State Audit Administrator for the Oregon Secretary of State Audits Division, following early experience at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.  A former National President of the Association of Local Government Auditors, he chaired the Comptroller General’s Advisory Council on Government Auditing Standards (2009–2022) and received AGA’s Frank Greathouse Distinguished Leadership Award.  Named one of the 15 Most Influential Professionals in Government Auditing by the IIA’s American Center for Government Auditing, he is known for engaging, practical presentations on performance auditing, investigations, hotlines, audit writing, and results-focused reporting.

REST SpeakersREST Speaker:  Kenny Kang, CPA, CGMA, CFE – Course info

Kenny Kang has over 19 years of public and industry experience.  He specializes in forensic accounting, fraud examination, and fraud prevention and detection.  Kenny also has a passion for cybersecurity and has been presenting cybersecurity-related topics since 2016.  He received the Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Finance and Accounting Professionals Certificate and the 2019–20 Digital Mindset from the AICPA in 2018 and 2019.  Most recently, Kenny completed the AI Challenge from Microsoft.  Kenny provides consultation services in fraud risk assessment, internal controls assessment, accounting processes review, and cybersecurity training to a wide range of organizations.

REST Speaker: Lamont Nesbitt – Course info

Lamont Nesbitt began his professional journey at Intuit in 1993, working with QuickBooks for Windows and later becoming an original member of the team supporting the first ProAdvisors. In a decade at Intuit, he built a strong foundation across desktop support, sales, licensing, and enterprise solutions, while discovering a deep passion for teaching, training, and developing people.  Following his time at Intuit, Lamont spent seven years traveling across the country delivering two-day QuickBooks seminars to business owners and professionals.  During this period, he launched his own business and began helping leaders build ventures that were not only successful, but meaningful.  In 2022, Lamont earned his Business Coaching certification from Woodard and has since spent the last three years applying those skills as a Practice Advancement Coach with Woodard, supporting leaders as they navigate growth, complexity, and change.  He also holds an Executive Coaching certification from the Meta Performance Institute, further strengthening his ability to guide leaders at the highest levels.  Lamont’s mission is to embolden individuals to see what is possible, believe in their capacity for growth, and move forward with intention – so they do not remain stuck, but continue reaching toward their full potential.  He believes true success should never come at the expense of one’s health, values, or family.

David Osburn is the founder and managing member of David L. Osburn & Associates LLC, a Las Vegas-based business training and contract CFO firm that provides seminar/keynote speeches for various groups including CPAs, bankers, attorneys, credit union employees, credit managers, trade groups, and business owners.  He also serves as a contract CFO for several clients including construction companies, medical practitioners, and real estate developers, co-manages a bank educational program with the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is a board member of North Star Business Services, a commercial lending company (commercial real estate and equipment financing).  His extensive professional background encompasses over 24 years in banking, finance, and marketing.  His bank commercial lending credentials include comprehensive loan underwriting, management, customer development, and loan work-out experience.  In addition, David is an Adjunct Professor for Regis University, an accredited MBA program, and the College of Southern Nevada, a community college.  He has taught college courses for over 22 years, covering Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Banking, Business Law, and Management.  He earned an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Utah State University and a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University.  He is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma National Commercial Lending School.

REST Speaker:  Neal Smith, CMA, MBA – Course info

Neal Smith is Associate Professor of Practice at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ and teaches Financial, Managerial and Cost Accounting, also Managerial-Decision making and Healthcare Accounting courses at the executive MBA level.   Neal is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds an MBA and BS degrees in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach.  Neal has over 35 years of manufacturing accounting experience in various roles such as CFO, Controller and Director of Cost Management.  Through his experiences, Neal had become proficient in applying the Theory of Constraints for manufacturing operations.  Neal’s work as a controller for Bal Seal Engineering led to a substantial increase in profit and significant inventory reductions.  This led to Neal receiving the Vision Award presented by Business Finance Magazine at the AICPA conference.  In addition, Neal has held numerous roles in food manufacturing, aerospace, plastic seal industry, custom packaging, furniture, paper pulp/diaper, and furniture manufacturing.

REST Speaker:  Jeanne Yamamura, Ph.D., MIM, CPA – Course info

Jeanne Yamamura, licensed as a CPA in Nevada and California, provides training for diverse audiences throughout the United States and internationally.  She is a professor of accounting emerita at the University of Nevada, Reno.  Jeanne specializes in enabling employees and leaders of small governments and organizations to better understand the accounting numbers and internal controls needed to successfully manage their operations.  She also provides training in professional ethics for CPAs and CMAs.  Her background includes public and private accounting, academia – online and offline, CPA exam review, and consulting.  She holds a doctoral degree in business administration from Washington State University-Pullman, a master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
